Yui Komuro is a fourth year Political Science major with an emphasis on International Relations. She is particularly interested in the effects of globalization and the political dynamics in the East Asia region, especially after having attended an international school in Tokyo for 6 years and working at a nonprofit organization in Washington, D.C. During the school year Yui splits her time as an undergraduate research assistant for Professor Thies, the executive administrator for Pi Sigma Alpha (Political Science Honor Society at UCLA), and a volunteer at an orphanage in Tijuana, Mexico. In her free time, she loves staying active in the sun, travelling around the world, snowboarding and golfing.
